Rigid and rough, not for comfort, just for looks.

The first photo shows a Mernette 20x20 Pillowcase 2 pack. They're more of a yellow-orange color, but they match my hand-sewn pumpkin pillows, so I kept them. I am taking off a star because they are very rough even after hand washing and hanging to dry. In the second photo you can see a lighter, deeper orange 16x16 pillowcase made from "Your Smile". I wanted to show you the difference in oranges. I like the dark orange better and it has a softer shell. But the lighter ones fit again, so I kept them, but will no longer buy under the "Mernette" brand because the covers are very hard and rough even after washing with fabric softener! Anyway, I hope this helps 😊
