That's enough.

In May 2017 I bought a new Roadmate nav and needed something better than the windscreen mount that came with the kit. (Roadmate windshield mounts fail in my experience.) Although my specific navigation box isn't listed on any of the Hippo models, it's almost the same size as similar models from other brands, so I ordered a Hippo mount to match. different laws, they are similar in this respect. I don't have any low vision issues in my 2004 Honda. (Of course, this can also depend on your vehicle). I've also read complaints that people are having trouble connecting their devices to this mount. I think it depends on the device. My Roadmate has a power connector on the back and side, so this isn't a problem for me. The Hippo mount is massive enough that it can be attached to my dash (YMMV) without even using a sticky rubber pad on it. The only downside I've found with the Hippo mount is that mounting the device can be a little awkward. The clamp is pretty strong and it may take a while, but you'll get through it in the end. I would like something more open and less bulky, but I still can't find such a mount for my Roadmate model. However, the Behemoth mount fulfills the advertised task.

Pros
  • Spring-loaded HIPPO mount that fits almost any 3.5", 4.3", 5" and 6" GPS navigator, with a unique jello block under the mount that attaches to the dashboard (detachable and easy to water wash)
Cons
