If you're like me you have a 16 inch neck and medium build. To buy a comfortable collar, as this company measures their shirt sizes, you must choose an XL shirt. There are 3 basic shirt sizes and they all make a difference! Therefore, a passage through the throat is not enough. I had to go back for a size smaller and I guess I'll have to live with a not-so-comfortable collar if I decide to fasten it. It's good value for money, they look and feel great, but I can't recommend those last 3 stars because the clothing company needs to know how to get the right size.
