I used this on an iPad with a paper texture screen protector and it wore out very quickly. The tip left plastic residue on the screen and eventually the metal core was exposed. If I wasn't careful, it scratched the display, regardless of the protective film. Go to Apple and spend $20 on original replacement tips.
