I didn't have much hope that this would work - I have a wi-fi camera that is quite a distance from the nearest hotspot and hence the wi-fi -Signal is removed -Fi was pretty weak. I got this antenna as a replacement for my camera but as the reception was poor I didn't expect much of a difference but I decided to give it a try anyway. To my pleasant surprise, after replacing the original antenna with this one, the camera had much better reception and now works 100% better - the connection no longer drops and 1080P video works fine.
