I stole some of this from the shower in the dressing room because of my incredibly dry scalp. I've used it as a shampoo (without reading the directions which say it can be used as a post-shower moisturizer) but it's so greasy it worked well. It almost instantly reduced my itching (caused by scalp eczema) for the rest of the evening. I bought a bottle and use it once every few weeks to relieve symptoms when they arise. Despite the claims on the bottle, I don't think repeated use will restore any mystical scalp oil ecosystem, but I would be curious to read the literature on this. The smell is tolerable; It's a bit like petroleum jelly in chemical composition, but dissolves quickly. If someone close to you has a superhuman sensitivity to smells, just tell them it's some sort of European cologne and they'll probably love it.
