This amazing desk is well worth the money. I got this from Veirdesk after purchasing it and I didn't like it. But like most people here, my desktop was corrupted. The manufacturer did so well in wrapping all the metal in 1-2 inch THICK foam, but when it comes to wood there is so much packaging flaw (take the same time with it and the table will never be damaged) - the packaging here is very thin and has I'd say only 1/8" thick foam to protect the "edges" of the table - it didn't even have anything preventing it from coming out of the sides. As the When production stopped it may have been in great shape but this box weighs 80lbs how many times has it changed carts and skidded on the floor - my box was in such bad shape when it showed up at my door and I it could see that the desktop was damaged right before opening it. The wood was actually visible from the side of the box before I opened it. I highly recommend either splitting this into two boxes or making the box slightly larger to accommodate that Packing wood better - a very simple solution that helps. What I did for the fix was get a pack of JB Weld-Black ($6.00). mixed and applied to any damage - also applied to any cracks and made it "flatter". I realize I didn't have to do this, but this solved my problems.
