If you've ever used neodymium magnets, all you need to know is that they're awesome and they do the job. BUT, if you have never used neodymium magnets, you must know that they are extraordinarily strong. These are not fridge magnets! When these magnets come together Charles Atlas (I'm dating myself) won't be able to pull them apart and they aren't even the strongest neodymium magnets you can buy! I mounted them on my kitchen wall to show off some of the steel items restaurants use such as flashy cutlery, a pretty pizza peel and a lovely onion-shaped pizza cutter. . They are definitely durable and safe. I knew enough from previous experience not to let the magnets come together. However, I made a mistake and they shook hands and bonded. I spent an hour trying to separate them but to no avail. The problem with this style is that because of their shape, they don't need to be clicked. If there was such a head start, I would do it. Great magnets, great price, buy and use with care.
