ft. A few years ago, due to some problems with the crawl space and HVAC, mold began to find a home in the heated square feet of the house. After fixing those issues and recovering from a recent hurricane, I bought a car because it was within my budget and promised to clean the air. I've used a machine with an ionizer and ozone generator running throughout the house (all doors open and the HVAC fan runs twice) and have used it in every single room (I'm consistent). as i don't have instruments to measure air quality i can only say that the amount of dust in the air has decreased and i don't see the need to sweep wooden floors or dust tables as often as before. i live in east north carolina where the humidity can get high and when it rains it can feel damp. i bought a timer at walmart for about ten dollars. I turn the ionizer/ozone switches to max when I go to work in the morning with the timer on two. When I get home in the afternoon I go to a house that smells healthier, I sleep with the ionizer on, installed in the bedroom from Mitte to full, with no noise issues (for me), the idea of having cleaner air helps me ignore the noise of the running device. I think I'm very happy with my purchase. The unit comes with a one year warranty so maybe in a year or so I'll write another review detailing my experience for the entire four seasons and level of satisfaction. For now, however, with the conditions I wanted to consider, the IVATION air purifier fit the bill. I couldn't find another unit at this price point that even came close to the filtration and air purification capabilities this unit offers. In addition, the cherry cabinet is very durable and a bit heavy with the work tools, but easy to move around the house. the device makes a solid impression from this point of view. If you search "ozone shock treatment" (10,000 mg/hr) in "x" square feet, you may need a device that produces higher levels of ozone. You can find some information on YOUTUBE. However, the specs say the device can handle 3,700 square feet, and for my needs it seems to get the job done without question. Oh the only thing that left me stumped is the extra fuse they say comes with the purchase. I haven't found it anywhere yet. I would recommend this to anyone who needs a basic air purifier and purifier.
