Ulcers. Finally had enough, I did a little research and came across this product. I basically love it.1. No more sores or irritation.2. Easy to use. I actually find it easier to use than JFM as I don't feel like I'm in a rush to wash it off to avoid burning myself. I leave it for 30 minutes. My beard is 2-3 inches long and mostly grey.3. Odor. Yes, it looks and smells like creamy spinach. The smell goes away in a few days. Also, every self-respecting bearded guy should have scented beard oils, oils and beard balms anyway to get rid of any lingering odor. Colour. I only used light brown. I experimented with regular color and base. Yes, you will probably get an odd color in the first 24-48 hours, but it will gradually become more natural. Mine takes on a slightly unnatural golden caramel color after application. My only complaint is that after a day or so it turns a toffee rust color rather than brown. Think of a Scottish Highlander, not a perfect redhead. I had a lot of gray hair. My natural hair is dark brown and I've never noticed any reddish highlights. It doesn't bother me too much, but I might experiment with a darker brown next time. Duration. I don't really notice that it dims too much. I mostly reapply to cover gray roots which happens about every 2 weeks and I take the opportunity to color my entire beard. Value. You really get a lot of product for your money. Much cheaper than JFM. This bag will probably last 3-4 months. Overall I'm so glad I found it and will continue to use it although I may look into other colors.
