This is a good tripod and phone mount that stabilizes your phone and allows you to take group photos. The "grip" has a nice shape and holds the phone securely. It works similar to my digital SLR cameras. This allows you to hold the phone securely, especially when it has a slippery case like my wife's. The grip is big enough to hold my Samsung S9 in the Otter Defender case. Owners of large phones should check with the seller about the possibility of installation. The battery is a flat round round coin from 2016 so it cannot be recharged. I haven't determined the lifespan yet. It has an auto power off function. In general, the design corresponds to the expectations in this price range. The tripod legs are plastic and the hinges are adequate, but I don't think they will take much abuse. Treat it well and it should last a long time.
