I bought this as a potential costume piece, but when I found that it was not really as lustrous-looking (color wise) as the picture, I started wearing it casually -- for errands, for setting up camp at festivals, for adding warmth on top of a skimpy outfit in the wee hours of the night.I get compliments on this skirt at least every other time that I wear it ("I love all that bright red!" "Such a pretty skirt!").
