Review on 💡 INFITARY 9007 HB5 LED Headlight Bulb: High Low Dual Beam, 10000LM, 6500K Super Bright White, Plug and Play Conversion Kit by Mike Hicks

This is for anyone upgrading a 2nd generation Dodge Ram truck. I had already upgraded from the pathetic factory headlight pods, which was the start of actually seeing the road while driving at night. I had Sylvainia Ultrastars in these new cases and they were still not bright enough to see properly. First, understand that these LED bulbs have a "top" and a "bottom." It is not marked and not mentioned in the accompanying literature. Completely replace ONE headlight assembly, then switch to another. There are no labels here! If you do not have unobstructed access to the rear of the headlight assembly and you can easily wrap your entire hand around the bulb retaining ring, follow the instructions below: Don't think you can install it with the headlight already installed on your Dodge truck. Unthread the entire headlamp assembly, partially rotating the assembly to expose the turn signal harness. Separate the turn signal assembly from the large headlight, continue to rotate the assembly to gain access to the headlight bulb, and observe the following precautions: Install the bulb first, making sure you can fully tighten the retaining ring. A factory retaining ring, genuine Chrysler part number 55077046AA or 55077046AB, leaves room for the pigtail. If you have Dorman style 42415 holders (also factory holders) you will need a pair from an auto recycle yard. 12 o'clock position, otherwise your beam pattern will be inverted. If assembling the back half with only the pigtail at 6 o'clock, remove the bulb, separate it from the intermediate section with the rubber o-ring, rotate 180 degrees and reassemble. Add fan/pigtail and bayonet. The entire assembly should now fit in the headlight, pigtail up, for the 12 o'clock. Connect the headlight wires, reverse, add the turn signal wire harness and dry install the assembly. Before attaching, check the high and low beams. Additional Note: The retaining ring does not secure the fan/heatsink to the lamp. Someone needs to report if the fan/heatsink falls out of the twist lock behind the lamp. Don't think that all of these things are assembled in exactly the same way. Your couple can request that the braids be in the opposite place from me. Now. After that I have a positive report: no radio noise, excellent light, improved radiation characteristics. Keep in mind that the LED emitter is physically in a different place than the tungsten element of a standard 9004 bulb and will have a different light pattern on the road.
