Excellent working glass. On open sharpness rings. Those who have 85 1.8 instead of 85 1.2 in their bag due to slow autofocus will like this glass. Autofocus is fast, tenacious. Sharp on all focus points (mark III). The stub does its job, it is noticeable (it visually resembles a stub at 70-200 is II), but its very presence on a portrait lens with such a focal length is very doubtful. For me, it would be better if it was cheaper by 20t but without a stub, because at long exposures it is extremely difficult to shoot people, but at short exposures a stub is not needed. The bokeh is soft, closer to 85 1.2 than 1.8. The drawing is rich. Glass for those who are not satisfied with the slow autofocus of the Canon 85 1.2 (I am one of them).
