Review on ๐Ÿš€ Jet Hot Cap โ€“ 20oz Stainless Steel Vacuum Flask by Kayla Ferguson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's not just a travel mug, it's a thermos.

I had a CamelBak Forge mug for years, but I accidentally left it in a kiosk in the men's room at Miami International after Super Bowl LIV and the person after me took it. For example, who does this? Anyway, I bought a Hot Cap Travel Mug and have been suing it ever since. Compared to the Forge mug above, this product is more like a thermos than a travel mug. Your hot liquids won't cool down for at least four hours and you'll burn the inside of your lower lip. I make tea every morning and drinking from a Hot Cap Travel Mug is akin to boiling water straight from the kettle. I often make tea at 6 a.m. and drink it warm around 10 a.m. However, the top is much simpler and easier to use and clean than the Forge, but you don't have much control over how much liquid you release with each sip. So be prepared to wipe your face, neck and collar. Perhaps the CamelBak could include a bib. While the Forge was more functional and ergonomic, I still love the Hot Cap and will use it until I go somewhere and need another.

Pros
  • Storage and Organization
Cons
  • Very Expensive
