Exactly what I was looking for

I really like this mug - just what I was looking for. 360 degree vacuum insulated beverage mug suitable for hot beverages. I love CamelBak and I love the price of this bottle. I'm on a short trip and just need a good mug to put in my car and keep my coffee/tea hot on my desk. Ideal! It works too well anyway, so make sure you don't pour too hot liquid in it or you'll have to wait all day.

Pros
  • Thermoses
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Renewed after use, perfect glass in every respect

*updated after a week of cup use*Hot coffee with cold cream stays hot for 8 hours with the stopper closed. Its insulation is significantly better than most glasses, which is why my coffee in the morning was too hot. I usually leave the lid on for 10-15 minutes to let it cool first. There is no need to install a screw cap to use the mug. You can remove this cork and just use the mug like a lidless Yeti or an Ozark glass. I found this to be the easiest if you use it every day, the coffee doesn'tโ€ฆ

Very practical hot drink container

A well-made and seemingly simple drinking lid ensures a long service life. No leaks! However, it insulates quite well, sometimes the coffee cools down before I'm done drinking (probably around 4 hours). The durability seems to be good. In the first month I noticed scratches, but they were purely cosmetic. Cleaning is easy, but a larger diameter helps with that. What I miss most about my other travel mug are the handles. If there was a detachable handle, I could detach it when I put it in theโ€ฆ

It's not just a travel mug, it's a thermos.

I had a CamelBak Forge mug for years, but I accidentally left it in a kiosk in the men's room at Miami International after Super Bowl LIV and the person after me took it. For example, who does this? Anyway, I bought a Hot Cap Travel Mug and have been suing it ever since. Compared to the Forge mug above, this product is more like a thermos than a travel mug. Your hot liquids won't cool down for at least four hours and you'll burn the inside of your lower lip. I make tea every morning andโ€ฆ
