Review on Acer XV282K KVbmiipruzx: The Ultimate 4K FreeSync Backlit Monitor with Agile Splendor by John Cecil

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great multifunctional monitor at a great price

I bought the 27 inch QHD version of this monitor two months ago and it has been great so far. With a 60Hz 1080p monitor, this thing runs smoothly when gaming, and the QHD resolution is a huge step up from FHD. The navigation takes a bit of getting used to as my old monitor didn't have a joystick, but it's fairly easy and the connectivity is great. The 4-port USB 3 hub is also incredibly handy for connecting a microphone, webcam and external drives. or anything else you need quick access to. Many reviewers complained about how weak it was and how IPS glowed, but that wasn't an issue for me. I have the brightness at 100% and as long as the display doesn't dazzle you it's perfect for my viewing. There's also some IPS glow around the edges, but only noticeable in the dark when the screen is black, which it isn't. No problem as I don't use my computer in the dark. I liked it. I've been monitoring so much that I got my brother for his birthday and he thinks it's great. As feature-rich as this monitor is, it's a bargain if you can get it for $300 or less.
