First things first. This cable is very expensive, this "Electronics Show" salesman sold me a used cable. One end of the cable just dangled in the package, no documents were attached. Does it affect performance? Of course not, but considering the high cost of this cable, it should have been sold to me cheaper. To the review. I bought this cable to use with my new Peachtree M25 computer speakers. I am currently using a $7 ANN brand Walmart cable. This is a very well built cable, solid construction. And YES, this cable made a difference in sound quality compared to the cheaper cable. difference between day and night? Not immediately. I listened to an acoustic song before switching to cable and tested/listened to it extensively and wondered if the price was justified and if you could see the difference. It sounded warmer, clearer, more open, and with a lot less distortion/electrical noise, making the music more enjoyable. I'm NOT a music lover but I appreciate being able to listen to good music that my pocket can afford. Who is this expensive cable for? It's for the music lover, the enthusiast and of course the audiophile. If you just want to listen to music without thinking then this isn't for you, you just need to connect to a 3.5mm jack.
