I've had two different laptop cooling pads in the past and neither of them lasted long. I did a lot of research and this one from KLIM kept coming out as one of the best. From the start I could tell that it was developed with some thought and attention to the user. It has two foldable tabs at the top front that prevent the laptop from sliding forward, as well as two foldable "legs" at the bottom rear if you want to place it on a table and tilt it towards you, making it more ergonomic. The two fans inside perfectly cool my HP laptop which is a great laptop but gets hot in my experience. Another nice feature is the power cord. The fans are powered by a USB cable that plugs into your laptop, but there is a USB connector on the other end of the USB connector so you don't lose your laptop connection. I have this and have been using it for a few weeks and so far so good. I am very happy. UPDATE: About a year after I received this cooling pad, it stopped working. The blue lights were still on, but not a single fan was spinning. When the 5 year warranty was in effect I emailed the company and received amazing customer service. They wanted me to send a photo of the control sticker and a short video showing the cooling pad not working. (They asked me to download it from a specific Dropbox link - very simple.) They contacted me immediately and said the connection was probably broken. They sent a new one for free and within a week I was back in business. They also contacted me to see if I received it and if everything is working fine. They are based in England and so is their customer service and it just couldn't be better.
