Review on NY Leagues by Jerry Ford

This is my review about this store .

NY Leagues' customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I will not purchase from them again and would recommend everyone to AVOID purchasing from them. It was over $300 of bad business!

On the 20th of September, I had placed an order with NY Leagues which totalled up to $301. When I placed the order, it stated that delivery time was within 2-7 days. On the 24th (prior to me receiving any type of dispatch or email confirmation), they sent me an email stating that some items were on backorder and as such they needed to change my order around (they didn't bother re-quoting me for shipping charges). This meant that instead of buying ONE Cricket Bat in a certain weight and length, they were asking ME to BUY an additional BAT and pay for the shipping costs.



I just needed to send one bat back and all would be fine. I was happy to do so because it's only fair right ?

On the 29th September, my credit card was charged $314 (so basically $14 above what we had agreed on when they changed the order). Basically NY Leagues never informed me about this charge beforehand !!!

The following day, still without any type of confirmation or despatch email (the company uses Fedex), they sent me another email - annoyed that I hadn't paid for my bats yet !



All this time....NO SIGN OF SHIPMENT! I mean come on - when you make a purchase, shouldn't you be sent an email confirmation of your order, at the very least?

I contacted them again and it took them 4 days to send me my bats. And then they sent me the WRONG BAT in the SIZE that I had originally ordered for ONE cricket bat !!!

They wanted me to take pictures of both items before they could dispatch another size (the original one). Well guess what ? They never bloody dispatched it because it's been 5 weeks now....and no sign of my other bat...no emails....nothing !



I would not recommend NY Leagues to anyone. Their customer service is terrible and they don't make the process easy when dealing with orders. I had a very negative experience, which left me feeling frustrated and annoyed at their company for weeks of waiting without any type of shipment confirmation or email update on my order status.
