I love squalane. It just leaves skin glowing, but after a minute or two it's not greasy at all (I'm generous with a few drops, but many might use a drop or two). This isn't the brand I usually order but it had good reviews, is larger and comes in a brown bottle which is great for oils. It arrived quickly and I tried it. It was clear and seemed simpler than what I was used to. I immediately requested a refund. I used it again the next morning, one last try. It was wonderful. It lasts as long as the heavier feeling and does the same thing. I canceled my return request because it's awesome. There are many types of skin oils and they come in all price ranges from gentle to ridiculous. It is just as effective as the very expensive, well-packaged oils found in department stores. Olive oil squalane is very similar to the natural substance in our own skin that provides moisture and moisture. I've read that at birth about 12% of our skin's surface is made up of squalene. In the mid-late 20's production begins to decline fairly rapidly. And by age 50, production falls below 5%. Either way, this wondrous oil gives skin a radiant glow and can be applied over or under your regular moisturizer, if desired.
