In short, this case is about the same or even better than the Ringke/Spigen/Olixar/two unbranded Chinese cases I bought to try. None of them protect the hinge as it is not possible to do so. Just buy a clear film for the hinge and outer screen if needed. But this case kills in terms of looks. Spigen used to do this with hybrid cases until they played around with colored bumpers again; in this case it's easy. Just buy it and remember that there are two extra adhesive pads inside the case halves for extra protection that you need to remove. Good product.
