Review on Armarkat Cat Tree Model A4201, Beige: The Perfect Feline Haven for Playful Climbing and Resting by Marina Smith

This scratching post was amazingly affordable and I have no regrets buying it. My cat (a kitten at the time of purchase) climbed on it immediately and loved the little ball you can attach to the top. Hours of fun were spent with this thing. After a week or two, she blew it off completely, but the ball is still an endless pleasure, like a toy with a rope tied to it. :P The tree itself is perfectly as high as the windowsill so my cat happily perches on it to look out the window instead of trying to perch unsteadily on our narrow ledge. It literally never wandered into the box (to my disappointment), but this tree is still worth its weight in gold for its extra thick, rough rope scratching posts. My cat LOVES ripping the crap out of these things! And today (two years after purchase) they are still holding up remarkably well. The only reason I give this scratching post 4 stars is because my cat has been "wobbly" from the time she was a kitten jumping on and off him. However, surprisingly, it never fell! Even now, as an adult cat weighing just over 7 pounds, this thing has never been dropped. However, if your cat is heavier, I think it's possible that it will tip over. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
