Don't get me wrong this is a quality monitor from a reputable brand and it works great. My only real issue with it is the price. This 24-inch 1080p 144Hz monitor costs about half the price of my 65-inch 4k 120Hz monitor (it's actually a full Smart TV that I use as a monitor). Mine is a lot bigger, my "monitor" has speakers, mine talks to Lexi, has multiple HDMI/USB/RCA inputs, and can do TV stuff too if I want to. This guy is a monitor, that's all. Good monitor, but only one monitor. You will need your own sound rig and mounting array if you want to mount it to anything. And it's only 24 inches and only 1080p. There is an HDMI input and an aux audio output. That's good and all, but then again. Compared to my "monitor" which has Optical, AUX, Coaxial, Arc-HDMI and Bluetooth audio output in addition to its own built-in speakers. Do you understand what I mean? Of course yes, double the price, another $250 or so is not a trivial amount of money to me or most people in my world. But I think it's kind of a luxury item, and skimping on luxury is never a good idea. Get value for money, yes, cheap, no. And if you have a PC running modern games at 1080p at 144Hz, chances are you've invested enough in it that you could be getting another $250 for a vastly improved experience at some point in the near future. . Heck, this guy is actually worth more than my 32-inch 4K 120Hz Smart TV that I have mounted on the ceiling of my bedroom. The only thing it has compared to my other "monitors" is a different 24Hz refresh rate. .and if you can reliably tell the difference between 120Hz and 144Hz in a blind comparison, I want to talk to you about some career opportunities that you may have overlooked. 120Hz is one frame in 0.0083 seconds, 144Hz is one frame in 0.00694 seconds. Maybe your eyesight is sharp enough and your brain is overclocking enough to notice a difference of 1.3 thousandths of a second per frame, I haven't. Or maybe that's it and I just don't care about that difference compared to the difference in overall size and the difference between 4k and 1080p. Do you understand what I mean? My advice? If you're looking for a computer monitor, check the size of LED TVs you need and compare prices and specs. I think a lot of time. Just as a product for women is pink and costs 25% more than a similar product for men, companies add the word "games" to the name of their item and charge you a fee. This is a quality monitor, there is no doubt about that. HP is a great brand. The brand name you're paying for and the word "gaming" in the monitor's name.
