This is AMAZING! Let me start with a little background. Two years ago my hair was below my waist but it was damaged so one day I decided that a drastic change would be the best change and cut it down to 4 inches. at its longest point with a shaved back. I wanted to get rid of all that damaged hair and grow out my natural hair, gray hair and all! As I said, that was two years ago. A few months ago I started getting really fed up with my old brown and gray hair, but I gave up on coloring because I didn't want to ruin my natural hair again. One day I came across a YouTube video of an Indian woman explaining what henna is. She had perfect beautiful hair so I decided to give it a try. I chose this particular offer because of the excellent price of $3.95. When I got it in the mail I immediately mixed it up with good old WATER! I mixed it to the consistency of wet cement so it was pretty plasticky but not runny. Because of this, I had almost no mess to clean up afterwards. I covered my hair with the mixture, wrapped it in cling film and waited almost 4 hours. It was about as long as I could stand being wrapped in that uncomfortable plastic wrap. When I rinsed it out, I shampooed it out and then washed it out with diluted apple cider vinegar. My natural color is medium dark brown and made my hair GORGEOUS, bright, shiny, warm and deep coppery. My gray hair turned into a lighter copper color that gave natural highlights. The color was really strong! The best part is that my hair is naturally a beautiful copper color! I got compliments on it from so many women. Some even asked if it was my natural color! Even my teenage son said it looked cool! Maybe even BETTER than my previous best part, this stuff has made my hair texture thicker and stronger! Three weeks later my color is still pretty strong but today I'm going to do another application. I will buy more products and start doing it twice a month. That's how I see it: It's a nourishing, inexpensive hair treatment that happens to give you stunning color. Everything about it is worth it! I will henna my hair for the rest of my life!
