Review on Optimize Lighting with Osram Sylvania 16168 Reflector Pack: A Top Choice for Superior Reflection by David Rhodes

This used to be a great lamp, but things have changed in recent years. I don't know what has changed. Maybe they moved production abroad and/or changed production in some way - whatever. I have old stock lamps from this brand that still work after 7 years! (used for several hours every day - in the evening) - amazing, I know! When one eventually broke I replaced it with the 'same' Sylvania lamp (same packaging, same ID) but along with older lamps it broke within 3 months. Same goes for the other 12 I bought in the same quantity. All 11 out of 12 broke within 3-4 months. I have 1 that still works - too bad! This was my transition to the incandescent bulb and I bought many batches of 12 in a year. I've noticed a drop in quality, but the last batch is terrible! That's all. In the end I ended up with this lamp and the Sylvain brand. I'm switching to LED spotlights.
