I didn't expect the quality of these lamps to be as good as the price. From the moment I saw the case and how the lamps arrived I was impressed. Each lantern has its own individual felt pouch tied together with a cord. It comes with a diffuser and barndoors pre-installed, so no installation is required. And it even comes with solid light stands. So in terms of presentation, it was really impressive. In terms of performance, they are incredible, especially considering their low cost. Both lights can properly illuminate a medium-sized room at most. The brightness and temperature controls work very smoothly and are easy to adjust. Handles and easy assembly don't come cheap. They appear solid and easily adaptable to light sources. Light output seems very accurate, with the right shades of white for daylight temperature and the right incandescent light on the warm side. I measured the accuracy of all temperature values, especially 5600K, which is very important to me. My favorite feature is the app for changing temperature and brightness. I'm a solo director, most of the time I don't get much help. Most of the time I'm sitting in front of the camera and can't go to the light source and adjust its temperature or brightness, which is why I love this app so much. I can easily (and from a great distance) change the temperature and brightness from my phone without leaving the camera. This feature alone is worth the price of admission. You can easily switch between the lights in the app to control one or the other. You can also visually see what your brightness level and temperature are. Rescuer. Overall I really have no complaints, this light does what it does very well. It's well built, has diffuser panels, barn doors, fantastic sturdy body, light stands, and each light is bright, accurate, can change temp, and my favorite can be changed remotely via phone. We live in a great time for shooting on a budget thanks to these lights!
