Phew. So just unpacked and wanted to try it today. I was a bit concerned about the occasional bearing popping out of the box, but luckily it didn't come from the skates, it was an extra one (of which there were two? Okay). I pull out the skates and immediately notice a rather thin material, a slightly torn seam and a missing rivet. I started loosening the bearings as they are stuck but then I realize the problem is in the bearing itself. I take the wheel off completely, pinch the bearing between my fingers and spin the wheel with my other hand and it doesn't even make a turn. Confusion. Right now I'm wondering if these skates are safe, but I'll try them. Then I notice that the sole is already coming off the skate. Ooooh damn. We're not dying today. The only good thing about this purchase is that it was delivered to *my* house as opposed to a recent package. EDIT: I returned them to Revain for a refund with no problem and paid a small amount for skates from the reputable Impala company. Skate that was refilled just yesterday. GO THERE!
