I ignored the bad reviews because I was desperate and wish I hadn't. It was so badly assembled that it wouldn't even close. The loops didn't match. All plastic furniture is very thin and fragile. The table broke trying to set it up. The people look terrible - their faces are very carelessly drawn. Their arms and legs do not bend, making it impossible to use furniture other than beds. I was hoping it would resemble the Fisher Price Sweet Streets Cottage my kids had and it's a terrible substitute. Do yourself a favor and find an old cottage on eBay. They are of much better quality, even over 25 years old (like mine). This is a perfect sized little house that keeps all the accessories. Ideal for holidays or when the children have to visit other houses with their parents.
