I've been using this hat for a little over a year. I love my workout partners, but after draining two light cases of cauliflower cobs, I had to do something. According to research, this was the best choice for protecting my ears and my training partners. Only disappointment as mentioned in other reviews they cracked within two months. I used to read that this was normal so I didn't contact the company but now I wish I had. The Velcro chin strap became less secure after about 8 months. Straps tend to absorb odors from others so I wash and wipe them down after each use which I'm sure added to the wear and tear on the velcro. It is still difficult to contain the smell. If I could I would replace all the straps but I don't see it as an option, if so please let me know! Plus my ears were saved, none of my regular practice partners or anyone else I've rollerball with has complained that I hurt them with the headgear so I consider it a win!
