Needs a Different Style Lid

I bought 2 of these containers to store dog food. They look attractive but they are not functional. Closing the lid is a 2 handed operation, as you have to push each corner down simultaneously with a lot of force. Even then, they don't remain closed. Whoever designed these should be demoted. The lids look warped, which may contribute to them being almost impossible to close correctly. It doesn't seem like the lids are removable either. If so, I'd keep the container part just for storage. These aren't even worthy of Goodwill. Into the garbage they go. Such a waste.

Very nice, secure , airtight lid easy to open. Warning: one of mine MELTED in the top dish rack of the dishwasher . The entire thing warped & had to toss.I always hand wash plastics anyway unless otherwise noted. Husband, however, believes everything (and I mean everything) belongs in the dishwasher if he can fit it in there. LolGreat for storage of oatmeal with a scoop & other dry goods.
