I bought this cosmetic bag instead of a basic 5x7 cosmetic bag with an inside pocket for small items. I wouldn't have space and it would be more organized so I wouldn't mix everything around to get to that item that inevitably ends up at the bottom of this style of makeup bag. This makeup bag is well made... and durable. It has elasticated loops for your brushes, multiple small pockets for small items, and more room for larger items. The Part that didn't work for me is the larger space that I put my eyelash curler, foundation, powder, eye shadow, etc. Brushes are pressed against this tray making it narrower, it's very rigid so I couldn't do it with one Close the zip. I think I'm used to a more flexible bag that you can really fit in almost anything. Try it It's been out for a few months, but I gave this bag away and bought a leather makeup bag on Etsy that's slightly larger than my original makeup bag. Hope that helps!
