A must-have software for every developer
Easy access of each change in a separate file with date/time stamp.Easy to view all versions in one go (or) easy way to compare two different files at once.Very helpful when you have multiple programmers working on same project & they are not able to keep track of their code modifications. I am using this tool while developing Android application which has more than 100k lines of codes. It is very useful as it helps me keeping track of my previous modification that i made to any particular line of code along with its current status.
Pros
- Very organized approach
- Simple GUI without much complex functionalities.
- User friendly for everyone from beginner users like high school graduates / college grads, engineers etc..to professional experts!;)
- Has great documentation available online so we can learn new tricks or add certain additional customization if need be.
- There was no learning curve involved unlike git's setup process where most people end up reading tutorial material before
