UPDATE: Added bonus of this backpack: Helmet mount straps effective and secure (I'm on a fast e-scooter, not a motorcycle) Take vinyl records with you! I couldn't be happier with that. The compartment closest to the back can hold 12 packs as well as some other groceries, and a very smart buckle at the top can hold an open pocket so you can put baguettes, flowers or whatever. I am very satisfied with this backpack. As other reviewers have pointed out, this backpack has a lot of webbing. They mostly help keep him informed, but sometimes you need to hide them behind you. Some can be removed. My only complaint is that some adjustable straps don't have "stoppers" - they're either singed or sewn with bent ends - to prevent the straps from coming completely out of the adjuster. just know On rare occasions, the main straps become longer if you pinch your elbow when putting on or taking off. But it holds a lot of things, has some pretty handy compartments (e.g. for glasses) and sleeves (documents, keys) and certainly fits a helmet. The zippers are really good and easy to close, which can be a problem with cheap backpacks. I didn't rate the water resistance because it may never rain again in Northern California, so look elsewhere for that info.
