tl;dr - These fairy lights look great, are easy to install and remove and are more than worth the $6-7 price tag. per sentence. The only downside is that the manual doesn't specify what lighting modes are (but I've detailed them below). I highly recommend this product. If you are interested in more details, read on. It was a very good product and was easy to install. The pulley is a great tool that makes it MUCH easier to set up your strings. I've used other cords in the past which are essentially just wrapped in a roll of paper towels or scattered around and they get incredibly tangled when I try to put them on and I need a second person to just help manage the wires . I installed these headlights myself and it was very easy and quick with no fuss. The headlights themselves look great. I have a "warm white" light that puts me in a good mood as it is a soft light. Keep in mind that this means they won't be bright enough on their own to see any of the hanging images clearly (unless you loop/overlay the lights multiple times). Speaking of photography, the photo clips are very thin and light, but hold regular 4" x 6" photos well. Be careful with the clips as they look like they could break easily (but there are a lot of photo clips out there anyway so even if some of them break you probably don't need to worry). If you want to hang a large photo, you may need 2 clips to fix it. The optional 10ft power cord is really handy, especially if you don't want the lights to be plugged directly into a power source. at night. The power cord is easily visible on the wall in daylight, so you can "hide" it by running it along a corner of a room or behind a beam. The only downside (and a small one at that) of this product was that the manual had very few instructions and almost no details about the remote control and lighting modes. Luckily, installing the light is pretty easy and straightforward, so no special instructions are required anyway. Although it would be very good if they wrote down what the light regimes are. So I took the liberty of writing down the modes here for future buyers. Mode 1 - cyclic switching of modes from 2 to 7; mode 2 - flicker; Mode 3 - flash with alternating lamps; mode 4 - dimmer with alternating lamps; Mode 5 - flash and flash with alternating lamps. - Dimmer for all lamps, mode 7 - Alternating lamp strobe, mode 8 - All lamps on (constant light) Mode 1 cycles through the other modes, but at different time intervals for each mode. I roughly timed the cycles, and over the course of about 3 minutes, Mode 1 seems to go through: Mode 2 for 25 seconds, Mode 3 for 16 seconds, Mode 4 for 50 seconds, Mode 5 for 25 seconds, Mode 6 for 47 seconds, mode 7 for 13 seconds. All in all, I can highly recommend this product as a very nice personal gift or just for an individual lighting design.
