Fragile design and broken switches

This switch was simply connected while "connecting cables of sometimes incompatible colors", and worked normally for a year and a half. For that time, however, there were two annoying moments. First, when you enter a room and flip both switches all the way, turn the light up and the fan on. short. To set the fan to medium or high, the fan switch must be stopped and reset. Fits easily into existing socket. The directions weren't as simple as red to red, white to white, black to black, and earth to earth, but they were easy to understand. I had the original Hunter for about 10 years but it didn't suit me. Hunter broke one of his switches about 5 years ago, the other about 2 years ago, making it impossible to adjust neither the light nor the fan speed. Doesn't work with wired fans

First of all, this review only applies to the ceiling fan and dimmer combo. It's weird that they have two different products on the same listing. But if they want both products to have the same ratings, that's probably their choice. Second, I have no idea how well this product may or may not work. It was not compatible with my ceiling fan.
