I have an iPad mini 2 and I've read that you can't use "Apple Pencil" on devices older than iPad 5 of the 1st generation are . So I was looking for a stylus that works without palm deflection. This one works great. Of course, you can't touch the screen with your palm, but that's okay because I don't do that anyway. I use it very much like a brush. This pen is very oriented and has no lag time. Right out of the box, press a button and it works for your device. No bluetooth or sync. This stylus is very similar to the Apple Pencil in every way except for the tip of the stylus. Made of silicone, the Apple Pencil is a type of aluminum with a rubber stopper on the end. At first I was afraid it would scratch my screen, but it doesn't. It's definitely worth $22 and has a quality finish. I also use Incredible to take notes. The app and the pen work very well together.
