My cat hates him but that's no surprise. It doesn't seem very comfortable and I never use it and when I put my cat on she was quite traumatised. She too has gotten used to everything. I got this for her because she had fleas because of our new puppy I got last year which I didn't know she (the puppy) was heavily infested with fleas that are infesting my whole apartment and everything my other fluffy infested (1 red hole in nose and 3 kittens.) My cat Fluffy had the worst reaction when she started losing hair on her bum very abruptly. She was also a strong cleaner and was constantly licking her lips which only made matters worse and she had lots of scabs around her neck from flea scratches. Of course I have flea collars and keep them updated when needed. I got this cone to hopefully help with the healing process on her neck because as they heal they start to itch and as she scratches the sores and removes the scabies , this will prolong recovery. I also got it to keep her from constantly brushing her fur to give her a chance to regrow. She is much better now although I have never used the cone but I have not returned it as I want it in case I need it. Although there are softer plush cones that are better suited to cats, you might want to try these first. It's best not to hurt the Furry if you don't have to.
