Review on ๐Ÿ๏ธ Nelson-Rigg Route 1 Motorcycle Backrest Rack Bag for Harley Davidson, Indian, Yamaha, and Suzuki - Ideal for Day Trips by Amrozi Papi

Exactly the size I was looking for.

I fitted this trunk bag to a 1998 Honda Valkyrie. After comparing reviews and installation videos, I settled on two Nelson Rigg products, this model and the Weekender. One of my requirements is that my packed lunch fits. The measurements were close in height but I decided to give it a try anyway. It fits and closes with a zipper with little space. I didn't want a bulky backpack or pannier as I already have saddlebags. One of the considerations that led me to the day trip was the price. This bag is almost $40 cheaper than the large weekender and I can't justify paying much more. If I needed a place for a helmet or other things, I would take a closer look at the weekender. I also noticed the rings on the top of this bag which might come in handy when carrying it. The first thing I noticed when unpacking Day Trip. were materials. The bag has strong zippers and is mostly made of thick canvas material. No frayed seams. Looks like a quality item. The bag also includes installation instructions. This bag took me maybe five minutes to install if I count the time it took me to line it up exactly how I wanted it. This is by far the easiest pannier rack bag I have ever installed! The best part is that the rings and straps are riveted to the sides. This bag is exactly what I was looking for. It fits on my luggage rack without being too big and offers all the storage space I want. I would buy it again.
