works fine for me. - Fish and Aquatic Animals

Simply drop it into the tank, let it acclimatize and plug it in. The red indicator light, which lights up when it's hot, is large and easy to see. I just wish it also had a green light that would glow when it's not heating up, just so you know straight away that it's plugged in and has power. There are other pre-installed aquarium heaters with this feature, although it seems that Revain has stopped offering this particular brand (seems to have become an exclusive to another online facility). The lack of this handy feature cost it a star in my rating in the Ease of Use section. This is still a 5 star product overall.

Pros

Auto Power Off: The LED indicator will stay red while it is on and heating up, and it will turn off automatically when it reaches the set temperature (78±2°).
