Review on Audio BV755B Double DIN Touchscreen Bluetooth by Richie Kotun

Revainrating 4 out of 5

good sound; Odd Type

I like almost everything about this stereo. It's a huge step up from any other unbranded factory system, especially the Toyota head unit it replaced in my Tacoma. The sound is good; the interface is simple but very functional; and Bluetooth connects without delay. But I got what I paid for; I'm not in love. Things that may bother you: SMALL volume control. The buttons would work better in a limited space. Thick front frame. The bezel around the screen is so thick (deep) that it protrudes the stereo out of the Scosche dash I use. Looks very annoying. I tried removing the bezel but the screen was there. - You cannot control your phone's playlist using the touch screen. It's pretty amazing. Even my cheap, horrible, slow, horrible Subaru can do it via Bluetooth. This is the main reason for losing a star. For now, this is the basic functionality of Bluetooth. Very disappointing. However, when evaluating the price curve, I might not notice the downsides.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Type
Cons
  • Damaged
