Inexpensive update after longer use

Good value for money. The volume control is slow to respond. The radio tuner seems weak. The Bluetooth connection works without problems and is good. Camera is pretty good, upgrade. Bluetooth is very unreliable. music jumps. Randomly it just shuts down and reboots. will contact the boss to find out more about another squad

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • The list is long.

Shit Strip: Car Electronics

This is the biggest purchase I have ever made. I want to smash it every day now I only have about a month left and can't wait to rip it out. He has so many problems that I can't even listen to music until he says he can't read the scanned disc. I've never used a scandisk, but sometimes several times a minute. NOT BUT I WANT A REFUND!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Compatibility

I bought this radio for my daughter's Jeep Compass to replace a factory radio with a common error "NOT WORKING". Installation wasn't easy, I recommend the RIGHT adapter harness that plugs into the factory harness. It still needs some modifications to make it look like it came from the factory. It has a good sound and works better than the stock radio.

Pros
  • Easy Setup
Cons
  • Some minor things

Does what it's supposed to do, but costs a little more.

Returned this model due to the capacitive touchscreen version. Very basic functions and a real volume control if that is important to you. Boot time is around 15 seconds, although when using reverse gear the camera engages after around 5 seconds, so it's doable. The screen can be a little laggy and it may take a few taps to respond. Camera quality is normal, VGA quality. For a few euros more, I would go for models with a capacitive touchscreen. Much faster response times and adding Android Auto

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Worth the price

I like that the headset connects easily to my phone. I use the speakerphone regularly for my work, people seem to hear me with no problems. I didn't connect the parking brake cable so I can't rate the DVD. The only problem I have is a week or two when I turn off the car, the next time I turn on the headset, it turns off when I turn on the clock and the preset radios are erased. It doesn't happen while driving, even if I hit a pothole, so it's not a loose wire. However, this is not a big problem

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Clarity

Buyers beware of automotive and automotive electronics

I installed this in my GMC 96 Sierra. I don't like that the screen has to be pressed like you would press the buttons on a radio, I wanted it to be a touch screen and not a push screen. The rear camera is a little dark. Light horizontal lines go through. You can't add Android Auto and you have to turn on the phone to use some features, which is pointless. I should just use my phone and that can save me my money. I will wait a few months before looking for a different type of touchscreen for my…

Good budget buy! - Car Audio

Overall this is a pretty reliable system for me. The touchscreen is definitely a bit finicky, but you can get used to it. It pushes my standard speakers much better than a standard stereo. It is certainly difficult to get the SWC control to work properly. For my dart, I believe the ASWC-1 I bought selected the stereo as a JVC before any of the controls worked, which contradicts some of the information I found. The only controls that don't work for me yet are the SWC voice command and the…

good sound; Odd Type

I like almost everything about this stereo. It's a huge step up from any other unbranded factory system, especially the Toyota head unit it replaced in my Tacoma. The sound is good; the interface is simple but very functional; and Bluetooth connects without delay. But I got what I paid for; I'm not in love. Things that may bother you: SMALL volume control. The buttons would work better in a limited space. Thick front frame. The bezel around the screen is so thick (deep) that it protrudes the…
