Are you fooled too?

There are several vendors on Revain that sell some form of this pot which claims to be stainless steel. Trust me, there aren't twenty individual manufacturers. There is one, and it is identified by different names. Problem 1: Nowhere on the pan itself does it say it's stainless steel. I have old Italian made pots with a stainless steel imprint on the bottom of the pot. In fact, this lack of at least one stamp on the pot means nothing - as far as we know, it may be made of pewter or gold. If you want to believe that a product made in China that claims to be rust free is actually rust free, I have a bridge I can sell you that spans Manhattan and Brooklyn. Problem 2: The lid does not fit well on the pot. .Conclusion: He's coming back. I have no idea what it's made of. I will spend more money on pots from Italy or Spain which are hard to find. By the way, almost all pots that used to be made in Italy have shifted their production to countries like China.

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Obsolete model
