Review on Samsung Galaxy Note Smartphone 20 Ultra (SM-N985F) 8/256 GB RU, black by Agata Stadnicka ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There are pros and cons, think before buying.

Not the first phone of the Note line in use, there is something to compare and, in general, observe the general evolution of the line. After 10 days of use, there was a general impression of the smartphone, and not to say that all expectations were met. For me, the main thing has always been in this line - the capabilities of the stylus and the top camera. The stylus is developing, now it is not an ordinary doodle drawing, but a full-fledged part of the device with many functions, and if you actively use at least a part, then there are no analogues to a smartphone. Therefore, you have to put up with everything else) But here's the camera block . The fact that it sticks out a lot, which makes it impossible to use the phone without a case, and with a case the smartphone becomes bulky - this is expected, we had to come to terms with this before buying. But I did not expect that the camera would turn out to be a loud rattle. A slight turn of the phone - a knock, as if something had fallen off and rolled, shake the phone a little - and under this rumble you can tap dance) I thought it was a marriage, I began to study the reviews, and people write that this is the norm: the officials answer, this stabilizer rattles. Strange, but oh well, you can live with it if the camera is excellent. But in fact it turned out that my wife's Note 10 with the usual small 12MP module also shoots under standard conditions and often better - in difficult ones. I was looking for where to tweak the general camera settings, but it is configured the same on both phones. The autonomy of the phone is its main disadvantage. Not very strong use discharges the phone a little after lunch. So the charger is always there . Damn, yes, I had a three-year-old Chinese device that kept the charge better. The screen is cool, large, bright, but the highest resolution cannot be used . Or rather, it is possible, but not for long: an already weak battery will order to live for a long time until lunch. The fingerprint sensor often does not work, you have to enter the screen unlock code. In general, the smartphone is nimble, but it freezes from time to time, especially when working with the camera. But there are obvious pluses: the phone looks cool on the outside, especially in white))

Pros
  • The screen, the appearance of the smartphone, the operation and capabilities of the stylus
Cons
  • Weak autonomy, I expected more from the camera, a bulging and rattling camera block
