Goes well with my 14" MSI GS43VR gaming laptop. When I'm not gaming I use the built-in GTX 1060 for coin mining (overclocked memory, underclocked core). It generates a lot of heat and without it my laptop freezes from time to time a. I can run it for days at 75F room temperature and never get cold at fan speed U3 (max U6).slightly smaller on this platform, with 1/2" space on both sides and 3/8" on the back. Hence I think it's ideal for modern 15.6" laptops. 17" most likely won't be stable enough.
