It may seem odd to buy a set of multiple tape measures for home use. I would have thought so too. But as a knitter I use them all the time and for some weird reason I can't find one every time I need a tape measure. I must have bought a dozen over the years. They are usually bright yellow. Where are they? Went into some kind of black hole (along with a bunch of individual socks). It's good value for money, fun colors and easy to use. I put one in my purse, one in my knit bag, and the last one in a safe place I'm sure I'll forget when I need it.
