Well built, works great
I bought this for a RRS series tripod without a center post, which is very stable and portable but a little short. This extension fits this tripod perfectly and the height is just right. The outer tube is quite thick, I won't lengthen the inner tube, so it looks like it would be more stable in this configuration than the built-in extended center column.
