Durability is good but doesn't really match Silverados

I've installed a 2017 and now a 2018 Silverado and it's been a year now with no problems. Don't expect a miracle of light. It's whiter and brighter, but doesn't offer much to illuminate the road behind you given the taillight lenses are what they are. Because of the lens design, no other light bulb will help. Now my complaint is that they taper too close to the base of the wedge so you can never fully seat them into the sockets. I haven't had a single crash in 10,000 miles, but they just don't feel solid there.
