We bought this in place of a large piece of furniture to put downstairs for a second child and it worked. It doesn't take up much space so we haven't had to fold it up yet, but I like having that option. At first I was afraid it would become unstable, but that doesn't seem to be a problem. And in general it's pretty cute. The top cover is soft and easy to clean. I like the zipped side pocket for tissues, nappies and cream. My only complaint is that the bottom is a flat piece and not a basket. It's strong enough to hold baskets in, but I wish it had something for that. Overall, a good alternative to a large changing table for those who don't have much space or can't afford something more extravagant. And the quality is such that it is definitely a gift.
