A few years ago A bought a CableMod extension kit to improve the optics. From this kit, a PCI-E power extension cable was poorly made and at the socket end, some spade lugs were crooked and did not insert easily. I managed to get everything working after spending a lot of time fiddling with the cable. Thought it would be a one time thing and decided to order two more cables for my RTX 3080 Ti GPU. Guess what? This time the pin end was poorly finished and it was literally impossible to fit a cable into the Nvidia 12 pin adapter. FYI, I have absolutely no problem connecting the SeaSonic cables to the Nvidia adapter ports. The build quality of the CableMod is a joke at best, and no amount of public forum exposure or so-called helpdesk can fix that. It's just not worth wasting time on these things, especially after you've literally rewired your entire computer only to find that the add-on you bought doesn't work. CableMod gets an F in my book. Never again.
